Key Responsibilities:
- Consolidate quarterly valuation results, ensuring accuracy across IFRS, SAM, and Embedded Value (EV) frameworks.
- Review and analyze liability and embedded value calculations, verifying assumptions and ensuring results align with expectations.
- Conduct profit analyses to guide management in optimizing the business portfolio.
- Resolve valuation issues in collaboration with internal teams and stakeholders.
- Perform periodic experience investigations and sensitivity tests to refine reporting.
- Act as a product owner for designated offerings, ensuring outcomes align with statutory requirements.
- Drive process improvements within the valuation team to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure strict adherence to Group practices, policies, and reporting timelines.
Skills & Competencies Required:
- Advanced problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
- Strong technical actuarial expertise and financial reporting acumen.
- Proficiency in data analysis and SQL/database programming.
- Exceptional organizational, planning, and time management skills.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Effective stakeholder engagement abilities.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelors degree in Actuarial Science or equivalent.
- Nearly or newly qualified actuary, with substantial progress in normative skills towards Fellowship status.
Experience:
- Approximately 5 years of relevant experience in actuarial valuations, reporting, or a related domain.
